This page was assembled to help astrophotographers obtain a starting procedure for hypering film. The data below is intended as a starting point only. You will have to refine your procedure by altering the variables until you acheive the film density of 0.8 over base. Philip Perkins PJM 40C 22 Hrs 20 PSI 460 Ft In N 3 flushes (evacs to 400 microns / fills to +3 psi) at 40 C then leave in vacuum for 2 hours. 3 further flushes then final fill to +20 psi with forming gas 8%H

Kent Kirkley Tech Pan 50C 9 Hrs 14 PSI ? Ft In Y 15 Hours Dessication to about 20 Microns at room temperature. Isolate tank from pump and heat to 50C. Introduce forming gas to +14 psi (Lumicon Gauge). Soak and Bake for 9 hours. 8%H

Martin C Germano Tech Pan 50C 96-100 Hrs 3 PSI 0 Ft In N Vac dessicate for 24 hours at as high a vac as you can pull with hand pump (-26 to -27 psi on guage). Fill with forming gas to +3 psi and heat to 50C for 96-100 hours. Develop at 6-7 minutes in D-19 at 68 deg. 8%H
